this thought -- and thoughts no doubt similar to it -- was what ran through the red-eyed tom's head as he trekked through the territory. as usual, he didn't have much of an expression on his face, though perhaps he had a slightly tired one. that was usually how he appeared to come off to others.

he hadn't particularly desired joining the colorless clan at first, but something about them appealed to him. perhaps it was their nature -- they were unpredictable. and since they had decided to meet up in colouredclan, that was where he was headed.

idly, he wondered if he'd run into any of his clansmen. he knew he most likely would at some point, but it was true that the territory was rather large. it was pretty, but it wasn't like it was useful for much. unless an unnatural phenomenon was behind it? he had heard that the clan believed in multiple deities -- that was another thing that piqued his interest. he wondered what sorts of rumors and legends would abound here.

now that he was a ways inside of the territory, he decided it was best to sit down and wait. he didn't bother calling out -- someone would stumble upon him soon enough. he wrapped his tail neatly around his paws, sanpaku eyes drifting across the terrain with mild interest.

[b]"a-ya. i'd like to join." he responded, choosing to meet the eyes of the lion, since he was the one who had asked.

oh, but who was that now arriving? he recognized chrome immediately, especially when she called out to him. a-ya-tan. how childish. still, it wasn't like he minded it, exactly. "yo, kuromu-san." he responded simply, his ear twitching. though they were clansmen, it wasn't like they could be considered 'friends'. not in his own opinion, anyways, though that may have differed for her.

another jaguar had shown up, as well as a cub. the cub spoke, addressing her question to chrome. a-ya didn't respond, seeing as it wasn't directed towards him.
